Hairstylist Farah has had to learn to keep a straight face as she takes care of her clientele.
The owner of a local salon in the eastern city of Farah, Farah is the head of the local hairdresses’ guild.
Her business is flourishing with a strong presence in the market, and the city has been a hub of hairdos for many years.
“I love my profession and I love my customers.
But this year is different.
I can’t go home at night anymore because people want to try on new hairstyles,” she said.
“We are having a hard time with our hair.
People ask me why I don’t use a hair stylist.
They have a good idea about what to do, but the real problem is the hair itself.”
She said the local market had a very strict dress code, and many hairdoers were not trained in the basics of hairstylism.
“There is no professional hairdot.
They only have a couple of basic rules: Don’t wear clothes with visible hair and don’t show your hair on the head.”
“They only give a couple haircuts a week,” she explained.
“The hair needs to be clean and dry before it can be styled.”
Farah’s hairdoing business has grown steadily over the past few years.
The salon’s customers include celebrities such as US President Donald Trump and rapper Kanye West, as well as some of the country’s most famous musicians, including country singer and songwriter Kacey Musgraves.
However, Farahs hair is still very unique.
“They have a lot of natural hair, and they use natural oils for their hair.
But most people only use a few of them,” she added.
“You have to be careful when you use oils.
But I have never had a problem with my clients,” she concluded.
