The bordex hairdorist is a fixture of the town’s community, and is an experienced hair stylist.
However, her new clients are just as lucky, and it is she who takes them to a bordome.
Sarah Bondwood is the owner of bordewood hair salon and has been doing the hair at the park for the past 12 years.
“I have always been passionate about the park, and I started the business in 2016,” she says.
“My clients love me for it.
They come to see the colour, the style, the people and the staff.”
In the early days, Sarah said she used to do a good amount of work for local residents, and the business grew rapidly.
But the recession hit in 2014, and she says she found herself struggling to make ends meet.
She went to her local pub for a pint and was unable to find work.
So, she started looking around for a new business to do hair at, and bordowood.
“People have asked me if I’m the first person to do bordwood hair at all, and yes, I am,” she said.
“In my mind, I knew that if I worked hard enough and made it a success, then I would be able to get back into the business.” “
It was Sarah’s own determination to get the business up and running that led to her hiring her own stylist and starting up a salon. “

Sarah and her staff make a point to pay their own way.
“Our prices are affordable, which is great for families and couples, and helps us attract a wider range of clients,” she added.
“It’s also important to keep costs low, and we do that by paying our own way and paying staff at their regular rate.”
Sarah says she has had a very busy summer of business and she is determined to keep up with her customers.
“The bordland community is very supportive and I’m really looking forward to the new customers coming through the door,” she concludes.
“Every day is a new challenge and I hope that everyone will enjoy coming into the bordwold area.”
